This exceptional 56 figure set of 28mm hard plastic Greek Unarmoured Hoplites and Archers has superbly detailed figures and a myriad of additional parts allowing hundreds of options when building the figures.
These figures represent Hoplites from mid 5th to mid 3rd century BCE. They show how some Hoplites fought more lightly equipped due to either financial constraints, or to make them more agile when confronted by the increasing threat of skirmishers and Peltasts.
Thrusting their spears overarm or underarm in dynamic, active poses, these miniatures will bring a real sense of movement and action to your Hoplite phalanx.

Whats in the box?
56 x figures
48 x Hoplites
8 x Archers
10 x Body options (various poses)
10 x Head options (including helmets and bare heads)
48 x Shields
12 x Swords
54 x Spears
8 x Bows
Quite happy with them, especially for the price, but a few more bows would have been nice. Like with the slingers, where there is a spare sling per sprue, a spare bow in addition to a spare quiver could have made 12 instead of 8 archers.
Greek Unarmoured Hoplites and archers
A lot of parts, you can make a very different army. Great plastic quality.
A very nice kit. I like the dynamic poses you can give them and there is a good variety of head designs. Only complaint is with the archers. I think there is something wrong with the included heads, because they make they make them look like they don't have a neck (or at least it's way too short).
A very useful set. Archers are great. Unarmoured hoplites have 8 different bodies so enable a huge variety of unique figures. Only criticism is that details are not as sharp and the figures also require more mold line removal than their recent sets.
