Victrix hit it out of the park with this new set of Islamic Horse Archers! These troops fought in so many different armies that they are one of the most versatile sets every produced. These figures can be used in Turkish, Crusader, Fatimid, Moorish, Byzantine, Timurid, Ottoman, and many other armies as well. Turkoman tribesmen were hired far and wide as mercenary horse archers. This set is simply fantastic. I think that it is one of Victrix best to date! Kit bashing with the Islamic infantry and heavy cavalry creates even more possibilities. I have even used the Norman cavalry set with the Moorish options in that set to create many unique figures. I strongly recommend picking up this set if you have any interest in the Crusades era. I can only hope that the long-awaited Byzantines will be as good as this. It would be hard to be better! Kudos Victrix!
