Hecatomb - Mayhem at the Market Scenario

I've been having fun putting this together, I still need to paint it, which is going to take longer than I thought with the holidays coming soon. But I am ready to keep these two warbands going. My brother already claimed the Vikings and I always like a scrappy underdog, so I am happy playing the Irish. I can't wait until we get our hands dirty so we can justify buying the Viking warband and a pack of Irish, I am very excited to figure out how the dogs work.

I enjoyed the scenario, but the throwing stuff and rolling barrels seemed an insignificant part of the battle. One merchant jumped down the well, and we spent the rest of the game just trying to overwhelm individuals with charges.

The scenario didn't seem to promote the special rules. The special rules weren't effective enough to make them valid options. Just turned into a meat grinder.

A fun meat grinder, but still a meat grinder.
