Dacians

This set includes 60 high quality 28mm miniatures. The Dacians were a Warlike people living in and around the Carpathian mountains. The Greeks called them the Getae.

The main Dacian warrior type was armed with a spear and shield and maybe a sword or knife. They also used quite a lot of archers but the main weapon feared by the Romans was the dreaded Falx. A two handed scythe type weapon, capable of taking off a mans arm in one blow or piecing the top of helmets as it came down over the Roman shield. The Dacians were very good craftsman and metal smiths and so nobles would wear armour of mail or scales and elaborate helmets. Quite a bit of captured Roman equipment would be used also.

Dacians review

I think the Dacian’s are great, but I think you are missing opportunities with adaption to Gauls. Damian’s were purchased in this case, because they have archers. I will make adaptions to Gauls. I think if your sales do not justify Germans, Dacian’s & Fanatics. I suggest you look at how you can have a dedicated Archer box for this period. Germans had strongly cavalry for this period also. Should your current range be reviewed, I suggest maintain the current Gauls ranges, look at a Germanic/Fanatic adaption mixed box. An Archer box that also can be adapted & a German Cavalry, which can also serve on the Roman side, but using Roman Auxiliary heads from Infantry. Encouraging people how the boxes can support each other for maximum value and adaptivity. Just a suggestion, it depends on your current sales on these ranges? I hope you find this helpful. All the quality of everything you do is just outstanding. I applaud everything Victrix does! You are my favourites!!!! Thanks, Paul

Superb figures

All you need for the Getae or the Daci. Mix in some Scythian horse archers, and some Sarmati (when Victrix gets to them), and you'll have enough to worry Trajan. Victrix has pretty much become the gold standard in 28mm plastic for ancients/dark ages. Keep up the great work, guys. Sarmati?

exellent figures,
you also need to produce Alexandrian Greeks, Romans and Germania tribes in heavy winter clothes. Alexander crossed the Karakoram mountains in Tajikistan in heavy snow. So did the Romans in Germania.

It's not bad. However, you need a system that allows you to order LBMS decals by retail order. And sheeping cost expensive
Retailer discounts are 30% to 40% off.
