This fantastic set of miniatures represents Greek Hoplites of Sparta and Laconia from the 5th Century covering the end of the wars with Persia, to the 4th century and the titanic struggle for Greek supremacy in the Peloponnesian war against Athens and Thebes .
Included in this set are 48 intricately designed 28mm hard plastic figures as well as a myriad of additional parts which allows you hundreds of options when building your own army.
These figures are historically accurate and have been specifically designed to reflect the spartan appearance. For example, the hair plugs into the back of the head to enable us to achieve the distinctive moulding of the Spartan long hair. This set is also fully supported by a range of shield transfers and banner sheets from LBMS.

Whats in the box?
48 x figures
8 x Body options
8 x Head options
48 x Shields
24 x Unsheathed Swords
48 x Spears
Had some distinct mold lines, and are smaller than your average mini. Still not a bad deal for the price.
Another great Hoplite set by Victrix. There is no competition. My only gripe is the fiddly nature of the separate hair with heads/helmets. However, it does allow for finer scale modelling. 10/10 Highly recommended

Spartan Armoured Hoplites 5th to 3rd Century BCE
Great kit with an excellent range of options. Once you get an assembly system happening they come together really well and the detail is great - especially the faces.
If there was one thing I would ask the designers to consider it would be to provide arm options so that all figures could be assembled either at rest OR thrusting with their spears (rather than half and half) as this would provide just a little more versatility to the modeller.
Overall - a great set of miniatures that paint up and present really well on the wargames table.
