Got these for my greco bactrian army :D really good fit and just need to find the time to paint all of them Haha
The technical work done here is excellent. The cavalrymen themselves are well sculpted, well proportioned, have a good range of helmet options and accessories, and paint up nicely. The sculpting on the features, breastplates and equipment is all excellent. The horses, sadly, are way too small for heavy cavalry horses (basically pony sized), and for some reason the kit doesn't have any torsos with Y&T/linothorax torsos, despite this being the only kind of armour we have evidence for Macedonian cavalry ever using (the famous Alexander mosaic and the iron armour found at Pella). There's also no scale or mail armoured torsos, but that's very much a secondary, Seleucid/Ptolemaic thing.
I have just complete my fist unit of Victrix Greek Cavalry my view is they outstanding figures. The paint up beautifully and look stunning. If horses are about on a par with Victrix superb Norman cavalry however the rider are even stickier but once painted they are very good figures.
So good i got another pack, lovly models. with lots of compination. Will be usefull for my Carthage army and my Ptolomaic
An excellently detailed kit, with enough options to span several centuries of horsemen! While a little fiddly for an inexperienced modeller, an average-to-experienced hand will relish the ability to customise the models to be EXACTLY what they want. Excellent value for money, as always with Victrix!
