Norman Crossbowmen

I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could, or maybe 4.7 ? So I give 5 stars.
Again, a very good set by Victrix. Big variety of heads for norman/medieval/crusade options, 3 in mail, 2 in cloth and 1 in gambeson in each sprue. Without any modelling, you can usually make 2 sometimes 3 poses for each body, and the kit seems to be able to be mixed with the other Dark Age quite easily (although I did not do it). Instructions are streamlined and easy to follow, I only saw one mistake on it (so less than other kits). After one or two sprue you can do it by heart.
My only complain would be the "bending while reload" pose. While fun and very original, it's not really that possible to mix, so over 6 sprues you get 6 times the fig, with only two arms possible and a few head. But really, it's nothing big. My norman army for Saga is now complete, 100% victrix and it's really great.

Ces figurines sont parfaites pour représenter des normands, mais aussi des croisés des premières croisades.
La sculpture des figurines est très fine et les poses sont variées. j'aime beaucoup celles où le tireur réarme son arbalète. Et puis un choix de têtes formidable ! J'adore celle où l'arbalétrier tient un carreau entre ses dents.

Tremendous variety with numerous head options to cover both Western and Sicilian Normans or other factions around the first crusade. Lovely quality and straight forward to put together once I noticed the compatability guidance for heads/arms/bodies on the cardboard!
