Los mejores del mundo!

Hello. Received the Norman Infantry. I really liked it. There are not enough fighters for the shield wall, fighting from their knees under the cover of shields. Thanks for the set. Happy New Year!!!

My other go-to bag of plastic soldiers!

Like the Viking kit, this is another fantastic entry into Victrix’s dark age range. While it nominally makes Normans, this set can do so much more. The weapons are especially imposing, especially the axes (unfortunately I wound up using them on my berserkers/ ulfhednar). You also get maces in this kit, as well as helmets with faceplates. It’s really an early medieval kit in terms of contents, but by swapping heads (and using a little green stuff if necessary) you can mix in Viking or Saxon heads to create up armored characters for these factions. I have experimented with trying to make Varangians with them as well. My hope is that when the Norman cavalry set arrives (where are they lol???) it will be possible to use the cavalry heads on the infantry bodies to create dismounted knights and crusaders. Overall, the poses are dynamic and aggressive, the armor and and equipment is finely detailed, and I highly recommend the Norman Infantry.

I really like the infantry. They were interesting to assemble.

Beautiful product, very interesting!

Good to use for warriors from 11th and 12th century, from scandinavia to England, Normandy, Sicily and Italy, but also for crusaders. A very polyvalent product well sculpted and concepted.
