The superbly detailed figures with a good variety of action poses, heads & weapons to choose from. Would be great if another separate heads, arms & weapons pack for Dark Ages
Not sure why the price difference now £42 from £35 when I bought them !
Excellent figures and the service was one of the best 👌
I bougth this set along the Cavalry one and the Dark Age Archers. A lot of elements (arms, heads, the obvious pieces of kit such as bags and hand weapons) are pretty much cross-compatible, allowing for a huge number of combinations, unit composition and obviously, variety even from the same starting body element.
With a little kitbashing it's even possible to use selected elements with the Saxon Huscarls kit, which means an even better bang-for-your-buck ratio.
Being a fan of a certain weird war ruleset, I noticed that quite a few among the large number of different heads will be easily used on British Napoleonic bodies, and that made me literally giggle with excitement.
In general I'm pleased with these models. Their detail is crisp and there are plenty of options in the kit. There are a couple of things I would change though to make them better in my opinion: Thicken up the weapons so they aren't so fragile and create pictorial instructions to make assembly easier.
very good, nice miniatures
