Republican Roman Cavalry

Romans are easy to build, have a lot of choices for heads, and with the depth of sculpting, are easy to paint. Results are outstanding.

I got these Republican Cavalry as an alternative to more expensive brands and I am thoroughly pleased.
Not only there are a lot of options to build your unit, the quality and detail is great. Several options on heads/helmets and weapons make this an enjoyable kit.
Care must be excersided though on the spears and standards when storing them and transporting them as they are fragile but that is due to the high level of detail.
I also got the Celtic naked fanatics, the Celtic cavalry and the Celtic Chariots kits all with very pleasing results.
I prefer the horses in the Roman kit over the Celtic ones, but I am not sure if they are the same or just fit the Romans better in my opinion.

Just love the minis. It was a no brainer to buy this as I prefer plastic over metal. You get several different variations in horses, lots of different heads. It makes 16 highly detailed 28mm miniatures. I made 9 because that’s all I needed. I found putting them together was super easy. Will def be back for more as I saw other products that are on my wish list.
