I don't often write reviews, but in this case I will.
I bought the Norman Warband package, and got a lot of plastic for my purchase. The warband packages have the advantage of giving you several different sprues from different boxed sets. This way you can have a couple of cavalry, a few archers, and a small variety of melee fighters. In Pillage terms I made a 500 gold warband, consisting of 13 miniatures, three spares on foot to represent the cavalry dismounted, and still have plenty of bodies and parts to spare. Expanding the warband, building alternate models to include, is truely an option.
Quality wise, these miniatures are hard plastic, and they are 28-32 mm scale, with normal proportions. That means they have thinner spear shafts and smaller hands than models from Heroic Scale 32mm, but during clipping, scraping, glueing and handling them, none broke yet. They have crisp detail, and with all the different little greebles, you can make each of your warriors a unique model.
With all of the above, I can see I am quite pleased with the product.
