Very pleased with the package overall and the quality of the miniatures and the their detail. Few things I’m not so impressed with:
1) Too many prone figures on the infantry sprues.
2) The Shermans are actually the wrong type for British forces in Normandy. The Victrix Shermans are M4A3, used by the US forces, the British used the M4A4 in their Armoured Divisions with other units using the M4A1 or the M4A2, anything but the M4A3.
3) Unlike the Shermans and Panthers I have from Victrix the Cromwell tanks are a pain to assemble with 9 parts to the turret! The parts do no go together that well and are extremely fiddly. The look OK when they are assembled but these do not warrant the ‘easy build’ label the rest of the range carries IMO.
Anyone wanting to start their wargaming deployment of 12mm WW2 British Combined Arms Combat Elements cannot get better than this Deal. Excellent detail on the models, help on how to complete them, Decals, Forums, packing and shipping. All at a reasonable price. I am looking forward to expanding the force as more new units are announced and released.
