Content breakdown:
Chests and caskets of various sizes, inspired by archaeological finds from Birka, Hedeby, Mastermyr, and Oseberg, complete with authentic rivet detail, hinges and period-appropriate locking mechanisms.
Crosses, chalices, Bibles, and candlesticks, alongside carved wooden panels and ornate decorative pieces.
A Carolingian-inspired inlaid Bible, wood panel, and casket based on surviving examples.
A 9th-century Irish cross, reflecting the renowned craftsmanship of early Irish silverwork.
A saint-inlaid Anglo-Saxon casket, plus goblets modelled on 9th–10th century designs.
Where historical examples were scarce, such as with candlesticks, we blended later Medieval and subtle Byzantine influences to create pieces that still fit seamlessly into the period aesthetic.
Whether used as scenario objectives, treasure markers, or immersive tabletop scenery, this set will bring richly detailed Dark Age flavour to any game.
Lovely loot! Beautifully modelled crosses, icons, reliquaries — you name it. Can be ported across to just about any setting. I'm pressing mine into service for fantasy. Can it HeroQuest? Yes it can!
Excellent addition to pillage sets and early medieval. Brought out by victrix. Would love to see some monks taken prisoner and Casualties. Early medieval villagers and character types. Early medieval churches
