This set has the huge benefit of providing unarmored archers, lightly armored ones, and slingers in one package. Plastic slingers suitable for dark ages warfare have been for a long time a miniature unicorn of sorts.
The kit offers the usual variety of bodies, arms, heads and options which allow for a large variety of combinations - even with the limited elements for the slingers I managed to get a unit of twelve without having two identical models, and I could easily manage to get a few more skirmishers kitbashing the remaining options with the dedicated archer bodies. Archers offer even more variety, so it's an easy goal.
The sculpts are generic enough to fit into many different forces without looking out of place, and as usual with a little creativity you can mix and match the spare heads and elements of equipment to further add character.
