The 1/144th british infantry are lovely sculpts with a high level of detail and great proportioning. The box is a cost effective way of building a whole company (nearly!). I say “nearly” as the box contains 8 Bren gunners, but an historic British rifle company would have had 3 platoons, each with 3 sections, each with 1 Bren gun, so you need 9. That was a little annoying, but otherwise the models look great and the 1/144th scale is perfect for scaling games like bolt action down from inches to cm and representing far larger battlefields with the space.
Overall, despite my one Bren gun gripe, I am very happy with these figures and will be purchasing a box of the victrix German infantry shortly
Very nice sculpts, in my opinion, they also fit in well with 15mm vehicles incase (like me) you already have a collection. My one gripe, as with all Victrix miniatures... no bases included.
These miniatures are EXACTLY what I’ve been waiting for. The detail, poses, and character of of each soldier is amazing. The scope and scale of the set is comprehensive and all one could need to field a powerful army.
How about making earlier Sherman models it would only require hulls same with M5 Stuarts to change them into Honeys! How about Crudader Ii / Iii Desert Rat infantry summer dress Africa Corp too Panzer IiI’s too a whole new range could be fun for you model makers Whatever keep up the excellent range Thank you.
I think my main comment on the British infantry sprue would be fewer officers and range finders and more NCOs and bren guns. I also recently purchased the German infantry kit, which is excellent - but I think the models could better distinguish the officers and NCOs. Either way, they're fantastic and I'm very much looking forward to your Soviets.
