Norman Crossbowmen

36 figure set of 28mm hard plastic figures. A large variety of head and arm positions to create some very individual and dynamic figures and units.

You should also be able to mix some parts with the earlier Norman Infantry set for extra variety.

There are some heads and helmets with Arabised headgear so you can field some of these miniatures as Andalusians and Crusaders. These figures will be useable from Normandy to Spain, Italy, Central Europe and the Middle east. And we are sure a few will find their way into some Fantasy armies also!

The set contains:

- 6 Sprues

- 18 x armoured

- 18 x Unarmoured

- Poses for firing and spanning the crossbows

- 27 different head options, and 7 separate helmet options allowing enormous variety.

- 7 head and different helmet options with Arab style headbands.

- Six crossbow bolt quiver options plus extra bags, axes, swords and knives

Stunned by the quality

This was my first time ordering from Victrix, and I am honestly stunned by the quality of the miniatures. I have experience with a variety of historical miniatures producers, and many of them have details that are so soft that they get covered during priming or poses that feel like the sculptor doesn't know how the human body should moves. My only regret is that Victrix doesn't produce science fiction and fantasy lines because the sculpts and quality of casting is on par with GW.

Best heads so far

This Victrix set features some of the sharpest sculpting and most detailed facial expressions yet, making them a joy to paint. While I'm personally not a fan of the hunched-over pose on one of the models, it's still well-crafted—just a matter of taste. One standout aspect is how seamlessly this set blends with other Victrix kits, especially compared to some of the more specalized sets in the Dark Ages range.
